An annual Seattle Christmas tradition, the Teddy Bear Suite at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel transforms into a whimsical winter escape filled with nearly 100 themed bears, twinkling lights, and candy canes (of course!).
The Teddy Bear Suite is exactly what it sounds like: a hotel suite jam-packed with holiday cheer.
It’s a hands-on experience and the perfect place for families and friends to snap festive photos and make memories that last long after the Christmas season ends.

The best part: children are encouraged to cozy up with the bears and explore the suite. This is a wonderful reprieve for every parent who normally has to tell their kids, “Please don’t touch that.”
Our kids (5 and 3 at the time of posting) loved the Teddy Bear Suite because of all the “cute bears”. The big cuddly bears were their favorites.
When & Where is the Teddy Bear Suite
The Teddy Bear Suite is located on the second floor of the Fairmont Olympic Hotel and is open daily from November 28 through December 24, between 10am and 5pm. Admission is free for all.
If you visit early in the holiday season, you can experience two Seattle Christmas traditions in one spot. The Seattle Festival of Trees also takes place at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel, starting around November 17th. Beautiful and creatively decorated Christmas trees go up for auction, and winners take them home. In 2025, the Seattle Festival of Trees ended on December 2nd.
You can also see the annual Gingerbread Village just blocks away downtown at the Seattle Sheraton.

Supporting Seattle Children’s
While the suite is free to visit, guests are kindly encouraged to donate in support of Seattle Children’s Autism Center and Uncompensated Care. You can contribute in several convenient ways:
- Cash in the secure donation box outside the suite
- QR code on site
- Direct online donation
Whether you’re stopping by for a quick photo or spending time soaking in the magic, the Teddy Bear Suite offers a festive experience that celebrates community, creativity, and the spirit of giving in Seattle.
